This is a rather special resort. The individual bungalows are delightful, complete with four poster bed, beautiful private outdoors bathroom and traditional style. Very romantic. This is not the sort of hotel you visit for the wide range of facilities. There are not a massive amount of activities, although the resort has its own longboats that you can take to other beaches and to the mainland. The layout and design of the whole resort is extremely nice. This is perhaps not the right spot for anyone wanting activity and excitement, but a perfect place just to relax. Perhaps my only criticism was with the restaurant. Although the food was fine, it wasn&qm;t very special, and the menu was rather limited. I would have thought with French ownership, the food could have perhaps been given greater priority. I visited before the tsunami. I hope that this lovely resort was not badly affected.
